Unsync a Patient Record from the New Transaction Window

It is possible that a patient could be synchronized incorrectly. If this occurs during the patient’s first transaction associated with their EMR Patient ID and Location ID, an Unsync button will be visible.

To Unsync a transaction in the New Prescription window:

  1. Select the Unsync button.

  2. A prompt will appear ensuring you want to Unsync a PrescribeIT® prescription.

    Select Yes.

    • The patient name and information will be removed from the Patient field in the New Prescription Window.

    • The Patient field will revert to the patient name that was a part of the original message from the prescriber.

    • The Expand button is now outlined in red indicating the patient record has not been synced.

      Note: If No is selected, the patient will remain synchronized with the previous record.

  3. Select the Expand button.

  4. Search for the correct Patient by including full or partial information in any of the fields (Last Name, First Name, Phone, Address, Date of Birth, or PHN).
